When is the election?

The general election in Maryland will be held on November 8, 2022. Early voting will take place from October 27 to November 3.

Where do I go to vote?

You can vote at your usual polling location.

Who can vote?

Any resident of Baltimore City who is registered to vote can vote for members of the School Board in this election, regardless of party affiliation.

How many candidates can I vote for?

There will be 4 candidates on the ballot, and you can vote for 2 of them. The top 2 vote getters will become elected to serve on the School Board.

What if I won't be here on Election Day?

Make sure you request a mail-in ballot. You are encouraged to complete and mail in your ballot as soon as possible once you receive it.

What will my ballot actually say?

The candidates will be listed as candidates for "Board of Education At Large." In other places, you may also see references to the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners or the Baltimore City School Board. All of these terms refer to the same Board.
